This
road project hung over our heads from
about the time we took over the farm.
Prolonging the inevitable for fifteen years was miserable.
With no firm project design coupled with on and off start dates, it
was very disruptive to life.
Planning for various farm
projects and business decisions were therefore hindered. Although we
were impacted by the design and actual
work, the stress caused by the unknown was lifted. As of Spring 2005, an end was in sight and we could
get on with life.
We
have
posted a series of project photographs, beginning
from the day back in October 2004 when
John and I moved the electric fence in the south
field to the new
property line. These pages were updated for
the duration of the project.
We did
not document the
whole project in detail. Our focus was on the
areas that impacted the family's farm and what
we can see out our windows.
